Your content and data are public records and need to be protected. Storing these records securely in an account that you control guarantees retention, security and auditability. There is no vendor or technology lock-in, you are not subject to changing terms and conditions and your content is not used for other purposes. Contrast this with YouTube, used by many as de facto video storage. YouTube’s terms and conditions expressly state that they may delete your content at any time and may use it for any purpose they deem acceptable. YouTube is a great channel for reaching viewers (and our simulcast feature helps you leverage that!), but it should never be used as a storage platform for public records.
