After a stringent public tendering process, the US Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command has selected Ravnur to provide video live streaming services for the U.S. Army Fires Center of Excellence at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Ravnur will be replacing the incumbent vendor, Vimeo.

Fort Sill trains over 18,000 recruits for the US Army every year. The graduation ceremonies mark the end of an arduous training period and the beginning of challenging and exciting roles as soldiers in the US Army. For the proud family members, relatives and friends, Fort Sill live streams the graduation ceremonies that take place almost daily, allowing this momentous transition from civilian to soldier to be shared in real time with remote viewers.

The US Army posted a stringent set of requirements for its live streaming vendor, which Ravnur meets. The Ravnur live streaming platform will be operated in the FedRAMP certified Microsoft Azure Government cloud to ensure the highest degree of availability and security.

“The Army’s selection criteria is based on technical conformance with current and future demands and best value, which is a good description of what Ravnur offers its customers. We’re looking forward to helping the US Army grow its use of live and on-demand video.” – Bruce Hudson, CEO, Ravnur

Ravnur is proud to serve the US Army, and its other valuable government and commercial customers that require robust and secure live streaming and video on demand management capabilities.
